After investigation, the reporter learned that the factory had an explosion in December 2011, injuring 61 people. In October 2012, the company was accused of abusing labor.

Recently, Songjiang Environmental Protection Bureau has received continuous reports from citizens, reflecting that the railway river near the intersection of Songmin road and Xinfei road in the eastern industrial zone does not know when it will be dyed gray. This is the second river in Songjiang known to reporters this year, which has become a "milk River". Law enforcement officers searched several kilometers of rainwater inspection wells and finally locked the pollution source into the third factory of riteng company. Songjiang Environmental Protection Bureau, together with the Management Committee of Songjiang Industrial Zone and Songdong sewage treatment plant, immediately conducted a comprehensive inspection of the plant. Through investigation and evidence collection, it is preliminarily found that the waste cutting fluid and oily waste liquid are directly discharged to the municipal rainwater pipe network and then flow into the railway River, resulting in a large area of river pollution. At the same time, it is also found that there are some problems, such as serious noise exceeding the standard, improper disposal of hazardous wastes, incomplete environmental protection procedures and so on. According to environmental protection laws and regulations, the Environmental Protection Bureau has filed a case for punishment for its illegal acts, ordered to immediately block the main rainwater outlet of the plant leading to the municipal rainwater pipe network, standardize the treatment of the residual waste cutting fluid and oily waste liquid in the rainwater pipe network in the plant, and required to stop business activities before complete rectification.

At 14 o'clock yesterday, the reporter rushed to the scene of the polluted river. The river was clean. Only at the corner of the river and the nearby sluice gate, there were a lot of black garbage, and there was a layer of oil stains on the river. From a distance, the railway runs north in Henan, Jinshan railway is on the west side of the river, and some industrial enterprises are distributed on the east side. According to people familiar with the matter, two years ago, the railway river was very clear and fish and shrimp were common. But in the past two years, the river has become gray white, floating with a large number of dead fish. In case of hot weather, the whole river stinks. The reporter noted that the railway river is relatively remote, and there are vegetable fields planted along the river. At this time, there are vegetable farmers working by the river. The reporter came forward and asked how to water. They pointed to the river. The reporter also interviewed migrant workers living nearby. According to them, the river has been gray for a long time. "It's like lime powder. Once the wind blows, it smells bad."

It is understood that ritten mainly produces 3C industrial appearance parts such as computer terminal hardware parts and computer appearance parts, including Apple iPad backplane and other parts. Its partners include HP, Dell, ASUS and other brands. There are three factories in Songjiang, two in Longhua Road and one in Shengang Road, which is the place of this case. Coincidentally, in December 2011, it was the explosion accident in the factory that injured 61 people in varying degrees. As for the cause of the accident, it is said that a large amount of aluminum dust produced by grinding operation accumulated in the equipment and exploded after being heated.
